HONDACARE ASSISTANCE VOTED THE BEST VEHICLE BREAKDOWN COVER

Hondacare Assistance has been named the Top Carmaker Branded Cover by drivers in an annual satisfaction survey by Which?. Honda’s legendary reputation for outstanding reliability means that Honda drivers are less likely to be stranded at the roadside, but should the worst happen at least drivers can rest assured that their breakdown cover is rated as the best provided by a manufacturer.

With a total score of 87 per cent, Hondacare Assistance sits firmly in top place, triumphing in categories such as arrival time, roadside repair rate and customer score. Plus, a large number of customers would recommend the break down cover to a friend due to a high level of performance by the repair team.

Hondacare Assistance received a top score of five out of five stars for both roadside repair and within the hour arrival times, ensuring that customers weren’t left waiting for assistance. Hondacare Assistance is provided in conjunction with the AA, our roadside assistance partner, and is available as standard on all new Honda cars purchased from an authorised Honda dealer and is in place for the three years the car is under warranty.

Hondacare Assistance
Hondacare Assistance is made up of several products to give customers the reassurance they need.*

– Honda Home Assistance: If the car breaks down within a quarter mile of the customer’s home address, Honda will send an appointed agent to the doorstep. If the car can’t be repaired, we’ll take it to the nearest Authorised Honda Dealer,

– Honda Roadside Assistance: If the car breaks down at the roadside (more than a quarter mile from the home address), we’ll get help to the customer wherever they are in the UK.

– Honda Recovery Assistance: If we can’t fix the car at the roadside, we’ll arrange for the vehicle, the driver and up to four passengers to be transported to any single mainland UK destination. As an added bonus Honda may also provide one of the following:

• A replacement hire car for up to 72 hours.
• Public transport for the customer and up to four passengers.
• Overnight accommodation.

– Honda Message Service: We can get a message to a relative or colleague to let them know what’s happening.

– Honda European Assistance: We also provide Honda European Assistance to all Honda owners as part of the standard manufacturer warranty.

Honda has also recently launched the free-of-charge Honda Assistance App for smartphone users. The primary function of the App is to enable customers covered by Hondacare Assistance to request roadside help should their vehicle breakdown or be involved in a road traffic accident at the touch of a button.
