Jaguar Classic

  • Jaguar Land Rover announces rebranded Jaguar Land Rover Classic business
  • Formerly known as Jaguar Land Rover Heritage, the new business will provide classiccars, services, parts and experiences
  • Renaming of business division better reflects Jaguar Land Rover’s capabilities and expertise

Whitley, Coventry – 17 March, 2016: Jaguar Land Rover is delighted to announce the renaming of its Heritage business to Jaguar Land Rover Classic.

The rebranded division will continue to provide cars, services, parts and experiences for Classic Jaguar and Land Rovers and their owners.

Tim Hannig, Director, Jaguar Land Rover Classic, said: “Renaming the rapidly growing global business to Jaguar Land Rover Classic best reflects the division’s overall capabilities in providing the best cars, services, parts and experiences for our customers. We aim to build an even more successful future by celebrating and nurturing Jaguar and Land Rover’s past.”

Jaguar Land Rover Classic can now accommodate full restorations of classic vehicles at its UK sites, as well as providing a repair and maintenance service for customers.

Jaguar Classic will continue to use the historic Browns Lane facility, where the six continuation Lightweight E-types were built and a newly developed Land Rover  Classic workshop at Solihull for the restoration of Land Rovers. Fully factory restored Jaguars and Land Rovers are now also available for purchase.

Jaguar Land Rover Classic Parts supplies genuine parts for models whose range has been out of production for over a decade.

The parts catalogue has over 30,000 individual and guaranteed parts, available to order from Jaguar Land Rover’s global retail network. Specialist technical advisors have extensive product knowledge and selected parts are available to order on the day for collection at local retailers.

In addition to cars, services and parts, the Classic business also offers customers the opportunity to experience a selection of Jaguar and Land Rover’s most iconic models with Classic Drives. This is complemented by the second season of the Jaguar Classic Challenge race series for pre-1966 Jaguar models, which commences on 2 May 2016 at Donington Race Circuit in the UK.

NEW JAGUAR HERITAGE WORKSHOP AT BROWNS LANE OPENS FOR BUSINESS

  • Brand new Jaguar Heritage workshop opens at the historic Browns Lane facility, offering Jaguar warrantied servicing restoration of classic models
  • Operated by the same Jaguar Heritage craftsmen who will build the six new Lightweight E-types, all work will be certified via a Jaguar-approved logbook
  • The Jaguar Heritage workshop will be led by Martyn Hollingsworth – himself a third-generation Jaguar employee
  • Introductory 20% discount offer on labour rates for early customers

10 September 2014: In a significant move for owners of classic models, Jaguar Heritage has opened a brand new workshop facility at Browns Lane, Coventry – the spiritual home of many of our heritage vehicles.

The workshop – the same facility in which the six new Lightweight E-type period competition cars will be built – will offer warrantied servicing and restoration of Jaguar’s classic models.

Led by Martyn Hollingsworth, a third-generation Jaguar employee, Jaguar Heritage craftsmen have a unique skillset, which is now available to owners of classic Jaguars.

All servicing and restoration work completed within the Browns Lane facility – which will also be used for the restoration of Jaguar’s own heritage vehicles – will be fully warrantied. Customers will be able to visit while work is in progress on their vehicles and, upon completion, they can obtain both a photographic record of the work carried out and a Jaguar approved service logbook.

Said Martyn Hollingsworth, “The recreation of the new Lightweight E-type period competition cars has demonstrated the unique skillset within the Jaguar Heritage team, and I’m delighted the opening of our Browns Lane workshop means we’re now able to make those same skills available to the benefit of our global customers.”

The Jaguar Heritage workshop can collect and deliver vehicles for service or restoration from any location in the UK or, in the case of overseas customers, any UK airport or port.

Early customers can benefit from an introductory offer of a 20% reduction on the official labour rate for works completed prior to 31 December 2014 (terms and conditions apply).
